Norco invests in tracking service

Norco Group Limited, the UK market leader in the short term rental, maintenance and management of traction and standby batteries, have announced the introduction of vehicle tracking devices on all service vehicles as part of a Vehicle Fleet Improvement Programme.

As Norco moves into an exciting time of growth and development, the Vehicle Fleet Improvement Programme has been introduced to improve the overall efficiency of the service department. The Programme will involve the replacement of all Norco vehicles aged over 3 years old and the introduction of tracking devices. The system will help improve the planning and scheduling of engineering work, in turn, improving response times, aiding time sheet management and cutting down the rescheduling of work due to traffic problems.

Service Manager, Jon wells said, I believe that the investment in vehicle tracking devices for all service vehicles will help us improve the efficiency of the entire Norco service operation. Our service engineers are an essential part of our business offering, and are the key to delivering a high quality service. We believe that the Vehicle Fleet Improvement Programme will help us to deliver an even better service to our customers and will improve the working conditions of our staff.
